Jenn Popper recently finished her 802 mile walk and was recognized in the local The Ellsworth American paper in Maine. She successfully walked on her own from Cranford, N.J., where she began her walk on June 2.

Jenn's impressive walk was done to honor the life of her husband Michael who was a victim of a boating accident over a year ago. Jenn's a FreeWalker from Plainfield, N.J., and walked from New Jersey to Gouldsboro this summer as part of Jenn’s Journey North. The trip is meant to raise awareness of the East Coast Greenway and benefit FreeWalkers.

While her journey recently ended, you can still help her accomplish her financial goals with a donation to her cause at her website - Jennsjourneynorth.com.
