This walk will also be part of the Kennedy 50 Training Program.  As such, there will be a lead group of walkers that will walk this route at a fairly quick pace with minimal breaks.  Additionally, there are some long hills to conquer.  If your pace is slower or you desire more breaks feel to join us but realize that you may be walking on your own or with a smaller group. (Directions will be distributed at the start)

We will meet at the GW Bridge Bus Terminal (Corner of 178th St & Fort Washington).  We will leave at 8:30 am and cross the GW Bridge and hike up the "River Rd" along the Hudson River.  The "River Rd"is a scenic 7 mile hilly course along the Hudson River.  Bring your own supplies as we will be in a park and no food available this time of year.  There will be restrooms and water available at the turn around spot.

This will be an "out and back" walk.  Returning to the bus terminal in late afternoon.  The roundtrip walk is approximately 18 miles.  For those wanting to walk further, they can walk another 9 miles down the Hudson River to Penn Station.

Those from North Jersey could meet the group as they come off the bridge in Fort Lee around 8:50/9:00.
