Thank you for the nice welcome. There is a map on the Duke Farms website www.dukefarms.org but not much else specific to walking. The trains are open from 8:30 - 6 every day but Wednedsay and are free to the public. 4 miles of the trails are paved, the rest are gravel or mown or woodchipped pathways. There is interpretive signage along the way teaching visitors about habitats and wildlife and a bit about the history of Duke Farms. If you would like to stop by and check out our facility we would love to have you and if youwould like to plan an event here, we would help with the advertising of that. One thing of concern for us all is the lack of public transportation to our location. That is somethin we are hoping to resolve in the future. Please let me know what you think. Looking frward to hearing from you and thank you again for the welcome!
Thank you Paul for the warm welcome. I really enjoyed meeting you and your group on Sunday and look forward to more walks in the future. Wow, I am the 600th member!!!
Hi Paul, What a wonderful walk at the Liberty State Park! Beautiful day, spectacular view and good friends! Thank you for making every walk possible. YOU ARE GREAT!!! I am trying to upload the photos in my album, photos occupy the whole page and I can not save them. See you at the next walk!
Thanks for the welcome, Paul. I've been inactive for quite some time, though I previously owned a health club and was VERY active. I look forward to joining you and getting back in the groove.
Paul, how exciting! Of couse, we plan to come. The award will be a great encourager for her. And a nice surprise. I still haven't figured out how to log in her miles from Newark to Penn Station in New York during the 50 mile walk. Many thanks for all you do. Thanks especially for igniting the flames of the next generation of walkers.
Paul, my friend Tanya Bitar has been trying to sign up for the walk on Saturday but is not able to. She is coming with two friends, Patrick and Karen Gireni (possible misspell). Please count them in.
Also, will there be snacks/food along the way like the d&r canal walk? I'm just trying to plan my backpack.

Just a few days ago, I noticed, maybe for the first time, the sounds of the Great Canal Walk. For most of the 40 miles and 15 hours that day there was an absence of sound in this body of water as still as glass on that calm day....
