Walk with us through the city of Brotherly Love and walk, bike, kayak or row with the East Coast Greeenway.
This scenic afternoon 15-mile walk through Philadelphia explores several neighborhoods and parks and visits a multitude of historic and cultural landmarks including: Fairmount Park, Philadelphia Art Museum, Boathouse Row, City Hall, South Street, Penn's Landing, Reading Terminal Market, Chinatown, Independence Mall, Elfreth's Alley, Eastern State Penitentiary, Society Hill and more.
Before our walk, we will join the East Coast Greenway on a journey along the Schuylkill to Bartram's Garden, with
walkers, cyclists, kayakers and rowers participating.
Free and open to public. Bring friends and family.

Arrive by 9am at Paine's Park, the skateboard park along the Schuylkill, to join the FreeWalkers and the East Coast Greenway on a walk to lovely Bartram's Garden or by noon to the Porch at 30th St Station to walk the fourth annual Freedom Walk. Our walk will conclude in Center City with easy transit options available. Stay over the night before and join us for the Friday evening River Relay opening event and our evening Liberty Lights Walk.
