Last year we had over 60 participants walking a nd 8 individuals that made the entire distance. We're looking to do a repeat this year only bigger. \nAs we did last year, our walk primaril y follows the East Coast Greenway. And, the East Coast Greenway Allian ce has promised outstanding support along the way.\nThis is our most d iverse walk, from tranquil parks and rivers to friendly communities to industrial parks and cities - this one has it all. The walk is conven iently near rail lines which makes using mass transit a big plus. If y ou prefer, create your own challenge by jumping on or off the walk at various schedule points.\nThis year again, The Big Walk is an importa nt segment event for our Cross-Jersey Walking Challenge encompassing 50 miles of the 100 total goal for the year.
